Editorial Notes
This resource employs editorial conventions widely used in Japan's publishing industry, especially in multilingual newspapers. This includes the following:
Names
- Indo-European-derived names are rendered with personal name first, family name last.
- Japanese-derived names are Romanized with personal name first, family name last.
- Chinese- and Korean-derived names are Romanized with family name first, personal name last.
- Exceptions (e.g. Zentradi names) are Romanized on a case-by-case basis.
- All names are sorted in databases and lists by family name (or the equivalent).
Romanization
Romanizations are drawn from source material in the order of preference listed below. When Romanization has not been previously provided by source material, modified Hepburn Romanization is used.

Material are drawn from the following sources in order of preference :
- Creators
- Video
- Audio
- Print
- Software
- Models and Toys
- General material
Note: Several publications (such as Model Graphix, Character Model, and model decals based on those magazines' articles) have printed certain information with the footnoted caveat that the data is not official or not created by Studio Nue.
