TYPE: United Nations air superiority fighter.

PROGRAMME: Designing begins in 2001 August. Uses material developed by OTEC from data from the Macross. Formally adopted as main fighter of the United Nations Forces in 2003.

CUSTOMERS: United Nations.

DESIGN FEATURES: Delta wing, two forward ventral fins. V/STOL capability. Two wing-root-mounted gatling cannons, six missiles.

LANDING GEAR: Retractable tricycle undercarriage. Two steerable nosewheels and twin coupled mainwheels mounted underneath wing root.

POWER PLANT: Two conventionally-powered turbojet engines. Two-dimensional nozzles. Aft nozzles used with ventral fan exhaust nozzles for V/STOL and maneuverability.

ACCOMMODATION: Pilot only

AVIONICS: HUD

ARMAMENT: Two 16-mm gatling cannons mounted in left and right wing root. Six hybrid guided self-homing missiles mounted under wing.
