This list includes official Macross projects released without Studio Nue's story input. Studio Nue, the original creators of Macross, was not directly involved or consulted on these projects' stories. In addition, these projects do not necessarily share the same chronology.

Macross II is the only animated Macross project in which Shoji Kawamori, Kazutaka Miyatake, and the other original Macross creators at Studio Nue were not involved or consulted.]
