Just wanted to state there is an errata in the assignment section: at the start of the series Shin is assigned to the Illustria, but the carrier seems to have been destroyed in the first episode of Macross Zero. Anyway, what i'm sure is that the carrier in which Skull Squadron operates is named Asuka, so it's not the same (also, images from the series seem to confirm that they are different vessels).
