Spec synchronization with modern fighters perhaps due?

Reading the VF-1's specifications again, I could not help but wonder, in light of the electronics and other specification we saw on the VF-0 in Macross Zero as well as what we now accept as standard in 3rd and 4th generation fighters (for instance, the F-16 Block 52+ with which I am somewhat familiar from my military service), if it would be appropriate to synchronize the specifications of the VF-1 to what is really going on today; i.e. chaffs/flares, OBOGS (On Board Oxygen Generation System) instead of oxygen tank, replacing the HUD with JHMCS (Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System) etc. Skullone 16:58, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Macross doesn't follow our timeline so we can't sync anything. And until something changes in the Macross continuity, what you see is what we get. Azrael
