The Macross Frontier: The Super Dimension Song Maiden Ranka manga is a side story based on the animated Macross Frontier television series. The story focuses on the everyday life of Ranka Lee. Yoshihiro Kuroiwa draws the manga, and it is serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp Ace magazine from the April 2008 issue (released on February 26, 2008) until the July 2008 issue (on sale on May 26, 2008). There will be only four installments.
