During the opening for Macross Frontier, you get a clear shot of Mikhail which shows him having pointy, elf like ears. Possible sign that he is of Zentraedi descent?

None of the human characters so far show this trait so it's not due to the style of animation. Bitphil 04:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Until more information comes out, this we cannot say for sure.

Last name.

Being something of a plane geek, I've noticed that Mikhail's last name Buran is also the name of the Soviet Space Shuttle. I'm wondering if this is a reference to that craft inserted by Kawamori or simply a coincidence, however I'm inclined to say its the former, though we probably need to hear it from Kawamori himself.

Childhood

A childhood acquaintance of Kuran Kuran, he enjoys teasing her about her stature when micloned (due to a genetic anomaly).
