The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Falling Snow in the Milky Way (超時空要塞マクロス 銀河に降る雪) is a collection of image vocal songs and image instrumental music (peformed by the Healthy Wings Orchestra) relating a Christmas on the Macross during its one-year maiden journey. A short story, "White Christmas," is included in the liner notes. (Scriptor Sukehiro Tomita had originally planned an unrealized "One Christmas Day" episode which would have aired approximately after episode 20, "Paradise Lost" and would have taken place in December 2009 - and which is not to be confused with episode 35, "Romanesque" which takes place in December 2011).
