The SDF Macross Music Edition was the first soundtack album for the The Super Dimension Fortress Macross animated television series. It contains the opening and ending themes (sung by Makoto Fujiwara), fourteen BGM tracks by Kentaro Haneda (with the Healthy Wings Orchestra) and four songs by Mari Iijima.
