Introduction

Welcome to the Macross Compendium, your guide to the official Macross universe!

This worldwide web resource is devoted entirely to the Japanese animation series Macross in every aspect from its origins in Studio Nue in 1980 to the current projects.

If you have questions or comments after browsing, please read the Frequently Asked Questions and Fallacies first. Otherwise, feel free to drop a note with the author at eganloo@anime.net. (In fairness to other readers, please ask two specific questions or less in each message sent.)

That is, I won't promise to post any more updated Info Guides to the rec.arts.anime or rec.arts.anime.info newsgroups. Instead, I have been devoting my efforts to the Macross Compendium WWW site. I have received *tentative* approval for the text portions from Bandai Visual, FIX Inc., and Manga Entertainment, Inc., but not for images yet. In the interim, there is the Macross Plus Info Guide 1.1 WWW page on the server. The URL escapes me, but I'm sure Sammy will be able to provide it. =)

There are still very few graphics, and the text information places an emphasis on Macross Plus, but it does have the latest Macross Chronology and compiled stats on Destroids and variable fighters. Please browse through after its opening and feel free to offer any comments or suggestions. Enjoy!
