Macross Plus Original Sountrack Plus~for fans only is a collection of Macross Plus Movie Edition music personally selected by composer Yoko Kanno, including seven previously-released and six previously-unreleased selections. Comments on the music by many of the creative staff (including creator/executive director Shoji Kawamori, director Shinichiro Watanabe, the characters' singing voices, the producers, and Yoko Kanno) are included in the liner notes. Also included are short notes on each selection's use in the animation and lyrics of the vocal songs.
