Shoji Kawamori

Shoji Kawamori (河森正治 Kawamori Shōji, born February 2, 1960) is the co-creator of every animated Macross project except The Super Dimension Fortress Macross II: Lovers, Again and the writer or supervisor of many related Macross projects as well. He co-developed the first Macross series, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, while he was still in college. He co-directed his first film, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?, when he was 24. He is currently the co-creator, executive director, and designer of Macross Frontier.
