Macross Chronicle binder

The Macross Chronicle will be a biweekly serialized reference of the Macross franchise that We've Inc. published beginning on July 24, 2008. On January 2012, magazine publisher Deagostini released a trial-release print with revised and expanded material through limited stores in Hiroshima. In December 2012, Deagostini announced a full release starting on January 15, 2013. This edition includes the original trial-release issues and expands on the original We've Inc. release from 50 to 80 issues.

Summary

The Macross Chronicle will cover all 26 years of Macross productions from the first Macross series to the current Macross Frontier series. Illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin will create new artwork for the project, and Macross franchise co-creator Shoji Kawamori will supervise the descriptions of previously unwritten story points in the franchise. Fifty issues were planned in addition to accompanying binders.
