They are insectoid in their appearance & behave more like living beings than piloted mecha.

Small Vajra units are yellow colored & the large ones are red (with yellow spiral markings similar to those that were seen in Macross Zero). Both are very fast & have several anti-fighter weapons. The Small type is equipped with a tail like energy weapon called flagelum, which they use for close combat. The Large types also carry a massive beam cannon on their torso capable of destroying entire space battle ships with a single salvo.

Speculation?

I edited the text so I could keep anything that may look like "speculation" out of it.

This is just what was shown in the first episode of Macross Frontier. Is it considered especulation also?

Speed & more...

Again... I added this to the article since is what I saw in the first episode. Does it have to be backed up by some source to not be considered speculation? Or to actually see it in the anime is enough to be considered canon? I'm confused...
