Alto Saotome's birthday is coming up, but Ranka Lee has been busy every day since receiving attention for her film performance. Meanwhile, a former older classmate, Yasaburo, appears before Alto. He persuades Alto to return home after Alto's father, Ranzo Saotome, becomes ill. Despite her busy schedule, Ranka wants to give Alto a present. However, Alto gets an invitation from Sheryl Nome. Unbeknownst to Alto, Ranka and Sheryl plan their own respective birthday celebrations for Alto.
