Ranka Lee is scouted by an entertainment production company. However, seeing Alto Saotome and Sheryl Nome together at the shopping mall has made Ranka nervous. While Sheryl is rehearsing for her Sayonara live concert on the final day of her concert tour, news arrives that her home fleet, the Macross Galaxy, was attacked by Vajra. As a result, President Howard Glass of the Macross Frontier fleet decides to inform his citizens of Vajra's existence.
